This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it and the choices available to you when you use the ClubRelay app and website.Who controls your informationClubRelay is the controller of personal data processed through the service. You can contact us through the Support page on this website.Information we collectWe may collect account details such as your name, email address, date of birth and profile photo; club, team and player information; fixtures, line-ups, match events and statistics; posts, comments, reports and messages; push-notification tokens; subscription status supplied by Apple; device, diagnostic and administrative activity information; and location information when you grant permission for a feature that requires it. Workout-completion location is optional and is collected only when the relevant permission is enabled.How we use informationWe use information to create and secure accounts; operate club, team and player features; keep fixtures and live scores in sync; send notifications you have chosen to receive; provide messaging, training and performance tools; manage subscriptions; prevent misuse; moderate reported content; provide support; and improve the reliability and safety of ClubRelay.Who can see informationAccess is role-based. Public club information, fixtures and selected match updates may be visible to followers. Private team statistics, player-management information, training information and administrative activity are limited to authorised club or team roles and the linked player where appropriate. ClubRelay does not sell personal information.Service providersWe use service providers to operate ClubRelay, including Back4App/Parse for backend services, Apple services such as APNs and StoreKit, and our website hosting provider. These providers process information only to deliver their services and are subject to their own contractual and security obligations. Information may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards where required.Legal basesWhere the GDPR applies, we process information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, for our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, and where necessary to comply with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent for optional features such as location and notifications through your device or account settings.Location informationFixture and venue locations may be public so supporters can find a ground. Precise location used to confirm completion of a gym task is collected only with device permission and is shown only to authorised team personnel. You can deny location permission, although the relevant verification feature will not work.Retention and account deletionWe keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can request account deletion in the app through Profile, Edit Profile, Delete Account. You may reactivate during the 14-day grace period by signing in. After that, account information is deleted or anonymised, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, safety and backup-retention requirements. Clubs control certain team records and may retain historical match records where there is a legitimate sporting or administrative reason.Children and young playersClubs are responsible for having a lawful basis and, where required, parent or guardian permission before adding information about a minor. A parent or guardian can contact ClubRelay through the Support page to request access, correction or deletion.Your rightsDepending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your information, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.SecurityWe use access controls, encryption in transit and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and protect access to your device.Changes to this policyWe may update this policy as ClubRelay develops.
